Raw Maca Coconut Apple Protein Bars
 
 
A quick, raw snack, high in protein, healthy fats, enzymes and nutrient rich maca! Maca is a root and roots are super high in minerals and support adrenal function. Maca is rich in vitamin B vitamins, C, and E. It provides plenty of calcium, zinc, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and amino acids.

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Pulse seeds, pecans, maca and coconut flakes in food processor.
  2. Remove and place in a small bowl.
  3. Using same food processor bowl, blend banana, apple, coconut oil and dates until smooth.
  4. Add pulsed seeds and all remaining ingredients to the bowl.
  5. Mix quickly with food processor before shaping mixture into small bars.
  6. Store in fridge for optimal hold of shape.
Notes
Freezer version: place the bars on a parchment paper lined plate and stick in the freezer for 10 minutes to firm up. Bars eaten right out of the freezer work well but will become soft in 15 minutes or so.
