
When clients ask me what the quickest and most effective way to restore and improve their health is , I always tell them to get the right kind of fats in and the wrong kind of fats (factory) out of their diet. And the best news is that you feel the results almost immediately! Many cultures have held saturated fats sacred for centuries—they understood how vital and nutritious they were. In Western countries, we unfortunately have done the opposite and often go to every length possible to remove these treasured fats from our food, with health consequences. Fats helps our cells cell wall regenerate, they stabilize blood sugar, diminish sugar cravings, support the heart, arteries and balance our cholesterol, are hormone precursors, boost our immune system and give us a razor sharp mind.
- 1 wild caught salmon patty
- 2 cups organic greens (I used spinach)
- ⅓ cup almonds
- 2 Tablespoon of a beet chopped
- 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 Tablespoons diced green scallions
- ⅓ cup grated or cubed cheese of choice, if you can tolerate dairy (I used raw cheddar)
- A couple of lemon wedges
- Dressing: olive oil, balsamic vinegar and sea salt - that's it, nice and simple!
- Grill or pan fry your salmon patty. Cook to desired temp (I like mine med rare). I like to use lots of fresh lemon juice and dill weed on mine.
- Arrange greens and other ingredients in bowl on a plate
- Add your salmon patty
- Add dressing and toss
- Enjoy!

I am trying to eat more salads just to eat more vegetables. This is a very good option.
