
This crust is so perfect for any pie. I add spices based on the occasion or you can omit them.
- ½ cup almond flour
- 1 cup flax meal
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- ½ tsp clove (optional)
- 1 tsp apple or pumpkin pie spice (optional)
- In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, flax, salt and baking soda
- In a small bowl, combine melted coconut oil, coconut sugar and spices
- Stir wet ingredients into dry
- Pat dough into a 9½-inch glass pie dish
- Bake at 325° for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown
- Let cool before adding filling
