You Get Stuck In Time, by
David Cameron Gikandi,"A Happy Pocket Full of Money"

"Why does this always keep happening to me? Why me, always?" How
many times have you asked yourself this? How many people do you
know of who ask themselves this same question? It is a common
question, isn't it? So, how is it that we come to be stuck in
time, with history repeating itself, and the same sort of thing
"always happening to me"?

Simple. Follow this cycle...

Whatever you give your attention to, you create (that is why
positive thinking works - and it is why negative thinking causes
trouble for you).

Your attention, when not under the direction of Your Will, always
follows past conditioning (belief patterns) and your perception
of your environment. It is like a wild monkey, jumping from this
to that, in your mind, seemingly out of control.

Your environment arises from your state of being and your
thoughts. It is literally a mirror reflecting your past thoughts
and states. How else do you suppose you got where you are now?

Your state of being and your thoughts arise depending on what
state and what thought you placed your attention on.

Your past conditioning (beliefs) are created and strengthened by
whatever conclusion you chose to make about yourself in relation
to an experience you created. At every experience you will find
the freedom to choose whether you will view yourself as a victim
or victor. For example, some people honestly believe they are
powerless without money, while others know for certain that their
power is not dependent on money or anything external. The truth
is, no one is powerless without money. We create money, it
doesn't create itself. Further more, to be honest, it isn't real.
Of the trillions of dollars on the planet, only about 4% is in
hard currency (funny looking colored pieces of paper and cheap
metallic coins) while the rest is imaginary money recorded on
computers and papers and ATM cards. Its pure smoke, but we all
agree to it. It is impossible that the unreal (illusion) can have
dominion over the Real unless the Real agrees through mistaken
identity and beliefs. The illusion cannot exist without the
dreams of the Real - how can it then have power over the Real?
Now, do you see why some people make it and others don't, even
though they may have a similar start? It all boils down to your
idea of you in relation to the experience; you are literally
experiencing your beliefs about the experience. The experience
itself is neutral, and it only happens when you create it (or co-
create it).

Experiences you create come about because you have given
attention to the idea of that experience.

And the cycle starts again, using different forms but the same
essence...

Whatever you give your attention to, you create.

Your attention, when not under the direction of Your Will, always
follows past conditioning and your perception of your
environment.

Your environment arises from your state of being and your
thoughts.

Your state of being and your thoughts arise depending on what
state and what thought you place your attention on.

Your past conditioning (beliefs) are created and strengthened by
whatever conclusion you chose to make about yourself and an
experience you created.

Experiences you create come about because you have given
attention to the idea of that experience.

And the cycle starts again, using different forms but the same
essence...

essence...

Unless...

You chose to bring your attention back to the direction of Your
Will. Once your attention is at the direction of your Will, you
can deliberately choose what thought and what emotion you will
have, at every moment. The last time most people had their
attention under the direction of their Will was as a little
child. Before the unwitting training in disruption of attention
started ("Jack! Put that down!" or "Jane! What were you
thinking!"), you had your attention completely at your will. Your
mind did not hop around in a buzz of unordered activity all day,
seemingly out of your control.

Once you have your attention fully under the direction of your
Will, you can choose the thought and emotion you wish to have
next, and nothing outside of you can disturb your peace or change
your course. You stop reacting and start creating. And the only
way to get attention under the will is to practice presence,
being present in the Now Here moment. Once you see that the metal
noise is the cause of the problem and not the solution (as you
previously may have thought, and that is why you started to use
it in the first place), you then can choose to practice being
aware of it and not letting it run on. It is useless, so why have
it? You can choose to practice having your attention Here and
Now, always and in all ways. It gets easier each day with
practice. At first it is like turning a train around 180 degrees
- it takes effort - but once you get going in the right
direction, the train's momentum itself helps you and keeps you
from turning back, and it becomes effortless! And finally, you
experience a whole new world of your liking!

Unlimited Vision
Everything Is In Divine Order

We can only see so much from where we sit in our particular bodies, in the midst of our particular lives, rooted as we are in the continuum of space and time. The divine, on the other hand, is not limited to the constructs of either space or time, and its wisdom and workings often elude us as we try to make sense of what is happening in our lives. This is why things are not always what they seem to be and even the best-laid plans are sometimes overturned. Even when we feel we have been guided by our intuition every step of the way, we may find ourselves facing unexpected loss and disappointment. At times like these, we can find some solace in trusting that no matter how bad or just plain inexplicable things look from our perspective, they are, in fact, in divine order.

Even as we take our places in this earthly realm, a part of us remains completely free of the confines we face here. Regardless of what is happening in our lives, this part of us remains infused with joy and gratitude, connected to the unbroken source from which we come. Our small self, on the other hand, who is caught up in our false identity as a being limited in space and time, regards happiness as the result of things going the way it wants them to go. It is this part of us that suffers the greatest confusion and upset when the logic of events does not compute. And it is to this self that we must extend unconditional love, forgiveness, and compassion. In order to do this, we tap into our inner divinity, holding the space of a tender authority, extending love and light to our ego as a mother extends her love to a troubled child.

There are many ways to access our inner divinity—meditation, prayer, chanting, channeling, and conscious breathing, to name a few. It is helpful to develop a regular practice that provides us access to this all-powerful, healing presence, as it can be difficult to reach once we are in a stressful position, if we have not already established a connection. The more connected we are with this part of ourselves, the more we share its unlimited vision and the secure, knowing that all the things of our life, no matter how they appear, are in a state of divine and perfect order.

Is Cholesterol medication one of the biggest scams?

Pfizer and the rest of big Pharma understand that the "bad" cholesterol myth is worth hundreds of millions. In fact, lipid lowering drugs are the most prescribed drug in the US! These companies are guilty of propagating junk-science, largely in part by the conflict of interest of pharmaceutical reps training our physicians. Cholesterol is not and has never been scientifically proven to be the cause of heart disease! This is illustrated beautifully in the article Cholesterol is NOT the Cause of Heart Disease by Ron Rosedale, MD.

Your liver produces around 80% of your body's total cholesterol and it has numerous important uses throughout the body. From the liver, it goes out through the bloodstream and gets utilized by tissues of the body where it's needed. This cholesterol is termed LDL (the one that is associated with "bad" because it's traveling away from the liver). After the cells of the body utilize and uptake what they need, the excess is shipped back to the liver via the bloodstream (this is termed the HDL or "good" cholesterol).

The kicker is, statin drugs lower LDL ("bad") levels by DESTROYING the cholesterol producing centers in the liver! Hence, the liver says "Oh Gosh, I'm under attack!" Then, the body intelligently starts to shuttle cholesterol back to the liver where distress and damage is detected. By deceptive marketing, we are led to believe that since the HDL levels are up, optimal health is assured and cardiovascular disease is prevented.

In my opinion, this is one of the biggest SCAMS in all of healthcare! It's no surprise that liver transplant statistics have significantly increased in recent years.

How to buy organic without breaking the bank

According to a policy analyst with Consumer Report’s Greener Choices, organic produce, meat, and dairy products can cost anywhere between 50 to 100 percent more than their conventional counterpart. Despite that fact, consumers are increasingly turning to organics.
According to market research firm Hartman Group, more than 70 percent of consumers now have at least one organic product on their shopping list.
Yahoo Finance shares five tips for going organic for less:
1. Prioritize – Organic apples, beef, and spinach, for example, give you more bang for your buck than other produce because their conventionally grown counterparts are heavily laden with pesticides and other harmful additives. Seafood, cosmetics, and cleaning products, on the other hand, can be labeled “organic” without meeting the same USDA requirements imposed on vegetables and meats.
2. Consider alternatives – Organic meats, eggs, and dairy products are some of the priciest, but you can find antibiotic- or hormone-free varieties, giving you at least part of the organic benefit.
3. Look for sales – Organic food is frequently put on sale, so look for coupons and discounts advertised in store circulars.
4. Turn to local farmers, and buy in season – Local farmer’s markets and community-supported agriculture programs (CSA’s) are great places for organic produce, and buying fruits and vegetables that are in season will help reduce your cost, as pricing is more competitive during those times.
5. Consider generics – Many supermarkets are now adding their own organic lines to their private labels, pushing your cost down.
