
I love my spiral vegetable slicer. It gets used often in my kitchen, especially when you want to get more real foods including vegetables in your diet. Some of my favorites are cucumbers, beets, radishes and zucchini. This is a classic crisp and easy salad.
- 1 peeled cucumber
- 1 peeled beet
- ⅓ cup shopped basil
- Olive oil
- Sea salt and black pepper
- ~Tools~
- Spiral Vegetable Slicer
- Use the noodle blade on your slicer to make noodles out of the cucumber and beet. You can add anything else you would like. Red onion is great too.
- Add noodles to plate
- Top with basil
- Add olive oil and salt and pepper to taste
- Enjoy
